The Knights have scheduled a press conference for 2pm today, giving Kalyn Ponga a chance to speak about his impending decision regarding his future.
The 24-year-old is signed until the end of the 2024 season but reportedly has a clause in his favour not to activate the final two years.
Over the weekend, Ponga’s contract extension was reportedly taken off the table, before a dramatic turn of events saw the deal back on.

Andre Ponga, the gun fullback’s dad, was said to be at the centre of the dispute with the Knights about how the extension would be announced.
Now, a press conference has been called which will likely provide some clarity on the ongoing situation.
It was previously reported the by The Daily Telegraph the deal tabled by the Knights would see Ponga earn $1.1m to $1.2m per season in a three-year upgrade beginning from 2025 through to the end of the 2027 season.
