An ugly brawl has broken out in the stands on the opening night of Magic Round.
The fight took place during Friday night’s game between the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Newcastle Knights.
Footage emerged on social media later on Friday showing the brawl, with several men pictured throwing punches while others were seen falling in the stands.

A Queensland Police spokesperson confirmed to news.com.au that three people involved in the altercation were evicted by police and handed penalty infringement notices for disorderly conduct on a licensed premises.
There are no active assault complaints though. Queensland Police also confirmed that another three men were given a move on direction, while one person received first aid treatment.
It is the not the first time this season that a violent fight has broken out at Suncorp Stadium, with a brawl taking place at Anzac Day earlier this year.
On that occasion, a fan seemed to yell out during the moment’s silence, prompting another man to lash out at him, throwing punches and ripping off his shirt.
The video also quickly made it to social media.
Friday’s fight marred what was an otherwise positive build-up to Magic Round, with the opening two games seeing the Knights and Broncos crowned winners.
