Million-dollar star David Fifita will make a huge return for Justin Holbrook’s Titans, starting off the bench against their cross-town rivals.

Much has been made of Fifita’s huge contract in recent weeks, with many suggesting the Gold Coast cut should cut ties with the 22-year-old.

Billy More said the Titans should “move him off the cap,” on NRL360, while The Daily Telegraph’s David Riccio said his contract was a “$1.2 million car crash”.

Fifita will be hoping to come out and deliver for his side, after a three-week sideline stint.

Meanwhile, the Broncos’ week has been thrown into turmoil after Payne Haas handed in a request for an immediate release.

Kevin Walters side are currently flying high, gunning for their sixth straight win, currently sitting in fifth on the competition ladder.

Haas has confirmed he will be playing and his teammates will be hoping he leaves all off-field controversy behind when he steps foot on Suncorp Stadium.
