However, coach Todd Payten will rest Reuben Cotter after his mammoth 80-minute effort for Queensland and Jeremiah Nanai will sit out after pushing through an ankle injury on debut for the Maroons.

As for the Dragons, Tariq Sims won’t play and has been replaced by Josh McGuire but skipper Ben Hunt has been named at halfback and is a good chance given he only featured in 37 minutes of Wednesday’s game.

However, young gun Jayden Sullivan is in the 17 as back-up.

The Dragons should be refreshed after enjoying the bye last week. Prior to that they bagged two handy wins.

The Cowboys were one of the eight teams to play during the split round and even without their Origin stars they still managed a 32-6 win over the Titans.
