The Rabbitohs have been “humiliated” by the Dragons in the first half after conceding a staggering six tries within 27 minutes of the kick-off.
Jason Demetriou’s side were favourites heading into their Round 15 encounter but were complete blown away in the first half.
Playmaking maestro Ben Hunt kicked off the scoring after Zac Lomax reeled in a chip kick, before Jack De Belin, Moses Suli, Mikaele Ravalawa all chimed in with four-pointers.

Following Ramsey’s try, Fox League commentators Dan Ginnane labelled the first half the most “stunning” rugby league fans had been treated to this year.
“Surely it is the most stunning half we have seen in terms of expectations vs reality,” Ginnane said.
“The grand finalists are being humiliated at WIN Stadium.”
“Yeah, I am stunned, I really am, the Dragons last week were really poor… but I expected South after against the Titans last week to come here and really try and establish themselves in the competition and make a run,” Fox League’s Michael Ennis said.
“Against one of their arch rivals the Dragons, it has been anything but that, it has been a lacklustre, really poor defensive mindset, defensive mood from South Sydney.
“They have been extremely poor.”

The flurry of tries led coach Jason Demetriou to pull young gun half Lachlan Ilias from the field.
“We have a developing story with the hook coming out for young Lachlan Ilias, he is not on his own in terms of performance but that is significant,” Ginnane said.
The 22-year-old was taken off with 51 minutes left in the game, with Blake Taaffe slotting into fullback as Kodi Nikorima shifted to the halves.
“Taken off by the coach, not injured, just taken out,” Michael Ennis said.
“Lachlan Ilias, a tough night for him, he remains out of this contest,” Dan Ginnane said.
“If this game doesn’t get any better for Souths, if whatever is left of the contest evaporates quickly, would it be a good idea for Demetriou to bring Ilias back on to try and erase the wrongs of the first half.”
“It is a tough one, taking Ilias from the field… they were trying to halt the momentum, change something up, but taking the young half from the field, it heaps a lot of pressure on him, saying well a lot of it was his fault,” Ennis replied.
“There has been plenty of Souths players out there tonight that have been nowhere near their best, it wasn’t Ilias on his own.”
The Dragons finished the half with a 32-point lead, delivering a performance Lara Pitt labelled as “perfect”.
