The actress explained that the couple threw a party at her friend Huma Qureshi’s place, marking the parents’ very first casual encounter. Farah Khan had asked about that initial meeting, and Sonakshi noted how everyone, including Huma’s folks, had a blast at the event.

Farah quizzed Poonam Sinha, Sonakshi’s mom, on whether she sensed something brewing, and she confessed she had. “Sonakshi was sitting on the foot of Zaheer’s mother”, Poonam shared. Farah quipped back hilariously, “No one sits on their own parent’s feet”.
