Mahima Chaudhry known for movies like ‘Pardes’ and ‘Dil Kya Kare’ continues to be remembered by fans. While Mahima has made a lasting impact, lately, her daughter Ariana has been the talk of the town ever since she made a red carpet appearance with her mother. She became an internet sensation due to her cute looks and netizens thought she looked like Selena Gomez. Thus, there would be curiousity around her. Now in a recent interview, Mahima has revealed if Ariana is thinking of making her Bollywood debut anytime soon.Although children of actors often follow a similar path, Mahima made it clear that her daughter will not be stepping into films anytime soon. That said, she did admit that she “would like her daughter to be a part of my industry,” even if not immediately.In an interview with Filmygyan, Mahima was asked directly about Ariana’s Bollywood debut. Responding honestly, she said, “Soon toh nahi… but yes.” She went on to explain her thoughts in detail, adding, “I love the films, I love creativity and I want her to be part of my history. I would really like that because I feel ki maine jo bhi set up kiya hai life mein yahi set up kiya hai, and there’s nothing like Mumbai so I want her to be here.”Meanwhile, she’s already famous on social media. Users were quick to compliment her grace, with many calling her a “spitting image” of Mahima. Several others pointed out her resemblance to Selena Gomez, with one fan commenting, “She looks like Selena from her early Disney days.” Mahima had also shared pictures of Ariana from the premiere of ‘Umrao Jaan’ as it re-released. In one of the pictures, Rekha was seen kissing Ariana and that image won the internet.On work front, Mahima was last seen in ‘Durlabh Prasad Ki Doosri Shaadi’, which released in theatres this December and featured Sanjay Mishra alongside her. Earlier this year, she also appeared in ‘Nadaaniyan’, where she played Khushi Kapoor’s mother on screen.
