The Super Bowl trailers have released beginning with an action-packed trailer for ‘Project Hail Mary’, starring Ryan Gosling in the lead. The final trailer of the film was released online, treating fans to new footage from the sci-fi space adventure. Directed by Oscar-winning filmmakers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller and based on Andy Weir’s New York Times bestselling novel, the film follows scientist Ryland Grace (Gosling), a former teacher who wakes up alone on a spacecraft light years from Earth with no memory of who he is or how he got there.WATCH: ‘Project Hail Mary’ Super Bowl trailerAs his memories slowly return, Grace realises he has been sent on a mission to solve the mystery of a dying suns and stars, threatening life on Earth, which may soon go extinct. The new trailer airing before the Super Bowl, teases an unlikely friendship with Rocky, a mysterious and friendly alien lifeform, who accompanied Grace on his mission.
