Director Nitesh Tiwari is mounting the two-part epic for a 2026 release, and interest has risen after a recent Los Angeles focus-group screening yielded positive feedback.

If the plan locks in, ‘Ramayana’ would share space with major global franchise presentations at the event.A report further added that, “Comic-Con gives it a global platform. The idea is to present the mythological drama not just as an Indian epic, but as a cinematic spectacle to the world. The feedback at the screening has strengthened the team’s belief that the film can travel across cultures.”The report also states that the epic film could be screened at major film festivals before its release in November this year. The Los Angeles focus group screening reportedly impressed viewers, who praised the film’s scale and visual grandeur.
