What are others saying about the film?
Mammootty supported the film during the trailer launch, and he said the movie is very good. The superstar also praised Indran’s acting in ‘Kuttante Shinigami’Meanwhile, ETimes review for ‘Aashaan’ reads, “The movie is a meta drama that unfolds within the cluttered, chaotic world of filmmaking. Centred on two cinephiles from different generations, the film explores the longing to belong to cinema and the fragile hopes that sustain those waiting on its margins. Set largely inside an apartment complex that doubles as a film location, the narrative mirrors the disorder of the industry itself, packed with ambition, humour, frustration and quiet heartbreak. Messy and overextended at times, Aashaan ultimately works as a sincere, if uneven, reflection on what it means to keep believing in cinema even when cinema does not always believe back.”
