Commemorating Arabic language day

The Ministry of Interior, through its General Directorate of Passports and in collaboration with the King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language (KSGAAL), has introduced a special stamp to mark World Arabic Language Day, observed every year on December 18. The initiative highlights the Kingdom’s dedication to celebrating and preserving the Arabic language and its cultural significance.

Availability for travelers

The commemorative stamp will be accessible to travelers at key locations across the Kingdom:

  • King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh Region
  • Jeddah Islamic Port in Makkah Region
  • King Fahd Causeway in Eastern Region

By placing the stamp at these major entry and exit points, authorities aim to ensure that both residents and visitors can participate in celebrating the Arabic language.
