US influencer says Indian man who died at Canada hospital after 8-hour wait ‘could have stayed in Mumbai’
US attorney and influencer Andrew Branca came under fire for his insensitive, hate-filled comment on the incident of an Indian man dying of cardiac arrest at a hospital in Canada after waiting for treatment for several hours. Branca is known for his anti-India comments but this time he was taught a lesson for calling the Indian family in Canada ‘invader’.“Another Indian invader of Canada. I note that she and her husband could have easily avoided the sh**ty Canadian healthcare by staying in Mumbai and enjoying the sh**ty Indian healthcare,” Branca wrote. 44-year-old Prashant Sreekumar was taken to the Grey Nuns Community Hospital in Canada’s Edmonton after he complained about severe chest pains while at work on December 22. But for more than eight hours, no one attended to him.Global News reported that his family said he complained of unbearable chest pain. But the hospital staff told them there was nothing of significance after doing an ECG and they were kept waiting. Sreekumar was given Tylenol as he was kept waiting but his blood pressure kept increasing. Nurses tried to resuscitate him, but he died. “A man died and all you can think of his hate and dance on his grave. You’re a despicable disgusting excuse of a man,” a social media user told Branca commenting on his vile post. “Millions of people die every day. Life goes on. Someone with a greater than 76 IQ would know this,” Branca defiantly replied. “Lol you mean the best healthcare on planet earth in Mumbai? The whole of Canada and NATO can’t come anywhere close to Indian healthcare system. Well hopefully someday you’ll be lying there and your white dogs will be barking the same. Oh you won’t even be able to come to India,” another wrote.
